A Multi-Colored Star

Big accomplishment for yesterday - I taught myself how to crochet this lovely star.  I took the photo before I tucked the tails in so ignore that part.  My plan is to use a similar design to make a lightweight wrap.  I'm not sure this multicolored yarn works for this particular project.  Hmm a monochromatic variegated yarn instead?

  1. I wonder if you are on Ravelry? (www.ravelry.com) It is a great resource for project planning. Looks like we have a lot of hobbies in common although you have a much nicer camera than I do! And I'm a knitter, not crocheter. I found you from a comment on In My Kitchen Garden. Good luck with your patio plants this year!

  2. Hi Karen,

I didn't know about Raverly! Thanks! I checked out your blog - wow! I'd love to learn to knit. My mom taught me years ago, but at that time I wasn't interested in crochet or knitting. Sometime soon I'll learn. I loved your felted hat. Stunning.
